Eligibility: All artists age 18 +, (Artists’ Haven Gallery employees and relatives are not eligible).
Categories: Entrants must choose from the categories listed below. Multiple entries can be made in as many categories as desired - see below for Entry Fees and Form. Artists working in various mediums are welcome to enter including watercolor and mixed-mediums. Mediums which are excluded are pastel sticks, pencil, charcoal, and digital. If you feel your medium is questionable, please contact us.

Image Entry: Digital format (JPEG Files). Only CD or DVD will be accepted for entry – see Entry Form below for details. No Prints or Slides!
Entry Fees: - First image is US $25. Additional images are US $10 each (there is no limit to the number of images that may be entered). Payment may be made by check (payable to Artists’ Haven Gallery), money order, or credit card (Master Card, Visa, American Express, or Discover) - see Entry Form. For international entries, payments must be in U.S. Dollars. We do not accept bank or money transfers. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be included with the entry forms.

Artists’ Haven Gallery located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida is a respected resource for collectors, interior designers, art consultants, corporations, galleries, and museums. The Gallery offers modern and contemporary works by established, mid career, and emerging artists. We provide a wide variety of Original Paintings, Edition Prints, Photography, and Sculpture.
Juror
DR. Karen Roberts
Dr. Karen Roberts received her Ph.D. in Art History (Modern Art) from SUNY University, Binghamton. She studied painting as an undergraduate. She currently teaches the following lecture classes: Art History I (Prehistoric to Baroque), Art History II (Rococo to Contemporary Art), and Art Appreciation. In the studio, Dr. Roberts teaches Beginning Drawing, Life Drawing, Color and Composition, Watercolor, Painting, and Painting Special Topics. She was one of five BCC faculty to be honored in 1992 in the first year of the college's Endowed Teaching Chair program.

Size Restrictions For Art
Sizes, Framing & Delivery – All juried selected works of art must be between 8” x 12” through 36” x 48”. The Artists’ Haven Gallery does not require canvas paintings to be framed. If you are framing, we do request that it be a professional quality frame. Any framing that requires the use of glass must use Plexi-glass - No Glass! All art must arrive wired and ready to hang. Maximum finished size is 36” x 48”. Artists can bring art to gallery in person, upon prior arrangements. Our gallery staff will repack your art using the same delivery/shipping materials used by you. All art will begin to be returned May 17 – 31, 2010. Please make proper arrangements. Any artwork remaining at gallery past June 30, 2010 will become the property of the Artists’ Haven Gallery.
Awards
Awards - From the overall entries, 45 artists will be selected (5 artists in each of the 9 categories). Of those, 9 artists will win a Best of Category Award (1 artist from each category). And of those, there will be a 1st Place Best of Show Award winner, 2nd Place Judges Award winner, and a 3rd Place Merit Award winner.
1st Place “Best of Show Award” winner will receive an Award Certificate, Blue Rosette Ribbon, a 1 Year Artists’ Haven Gallery *Representation Contract, and a $1000 Cash Prize.
2nd Place “Judges Award” winner will receive an Award Certificate, Red Rosette Ribbon, a 1 Year Artists’ Haven Gallery *Representation Contract, and a $500 cash prize.
3rd Place “Merit Award” winner will receive an Award Certificate, White Rosette Ribbon, a 1 Year Artists’ Haven Gallery *Representation Contract, and a $250 cash prize.
Best of Category Award winners will each receive an Award Certificate, Yellow Rosette Ribbon, and a $125 Cash Prize.
